"It is dedicated to the 200 hundred Pan American men who gave their lives in the cause...to the men and women of Pan Am who, loyally at their posts when WW2 broke out across the Pacific, suffered the horrors of prison camps ... this picture of their comrades at war is dedicated". The DVD contains incredible never before seen footage of PAA and its employees showing the enormous role Pan Am played in winning the war. This rare color documentary depicts the history of Pan American Airways wartime activity from a review of aircraft used in development of routes and flight operations, air crews at work, navigators plotting course to wartime operations and the use of Pan American Airways by U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. Aircraft shown: Fokker F-7, Sikorsky S-38, Consolidated Commodore, Sikorsky S-43, Sikorsky S-42, Boeing 307, Martin 130, DC-4, Boeing 314.
